For years, Vivenda Oliveirinha has been a beautiful cottage with adjacent vacation home.

We, Bram and Ton, took over in 2023 and now run the “little paradise” with great passion.

Ton is originally from Waalwijk and Bram was born in Tegelen. We met about 20-plus years ago. We lived together in Breda for 15 years. Ton worked in construction near Waalwijk and Bram at a school in Rotterdam-Zuid. Breda was nicely in the middle. In addition, Breda’s downtown was akin to Den Bosch and Maastricht. So that had to be good. We lived there for many years with great pleasure.

Since we have known each other, Portugal has invariably been our vacation country. So almost every year and sometimes several times a year we enjoyed Portuguese life here. Actually, it doesn’t matter where you are in Portugal. It’s fun everywhere. In all honesty, we find the Douro Valley and central and northern Portugal the most beautiful. After many years of fine living and working in the Netherlands, something began to itch. Shouldn’t we do something “new” for a change. That tickled for several years, until we came across Vivenda Oliveirinha…. Then we were both immediately sold. We love to share our love for Portugal….
