Coimbra: About 43km away is Coimbra, the city of students, steep streets and fado. Coimbra, known for its historic university, one of the oldest in world, offers a unique blend of tradition and modern vibrancy. Visit the impressive university library, Biblioteca Joanina, and lose yourself in the ancient streets filled with cafes and stores. The Mondego River adds a touch of natural beauty, perfect for a leisurely walk or a boat ride. In this region like Portuguese golf resort “Quinta das Lágrimas Academia de Golfe”.
Viseu: About 59km away is Viseu, a charming city in the heart of the Dão wine region. Here you can visit the cathedral of Viseu and the Grão Vasco Museum visit, featuring works by the famous Portuguese painter. The city also offers beautiful parks and green spaces, ideal for an afternoon of relaxation. Don’t miss the local gastronomy not, with delicious cheeses and wines.
Porto: About 110km away you will find Porto, the city known for its port wine, colorful houses and the iconic Dom Luis I bridge. Take a stroll along the Douro River, visit one of the many port wine cellars for a
tasting, and admire the beautiful azulejos (tiles) that adorn many of the buildings.

Aveiro: About 50km away you’ll find Aveiro, often described as the Venice of Portugal because of the colorful gondolas (moliceiros) that navigate the canals. Explore the Art Nouveau buildings, taste ovos moles (a local sweet) and take a boat ride to see the city from the water. Aveiro is also famous for its salt pans and lively markets.
Beaches: At the reservoir nearby there is a nice little beach. The beautiful wide sandy beaches of Figueira da Foz, Mira and Tocha are about a 50km drive away.
